We are able to offer testosterone administration and technique teaching to our patients.

Immunizations and vaccine administration are available for patients with a valid prescription, including influenza vaccine, shingles vaccine, pneumonia vaccine, and more.  Prescribing is available when deemed appropriate by the pharmacist.

Other injectable drug administration available for patients who require it, such as Vitamin B12, Prolia, and more.

The main purpose for medication reviews is to increase communication between pharmacists, patients and physicians/nurse practitioners.  Medication reviews can help alleviate medical adherence and also gives the patient a chance to discuss any questions they may have about their medications.

Opioid-agonist Maintenance Treatment (OAMT) refers to the use of methadone or buprenorphine (with or without naloxone) to aid patients in overcoming opioid dependency.  Combined with counselling and other social and community supports, OAMT is regarded as the gold standard in opioid-dependence treatment.

Pharmacists can prescribe refills for most prescription medications for up to 6 months when appropriate.  They cannot prescribe refills for narcotics or controlled drugs.

Pharmacists can prescribe prescription and non-prescription drugs to treat a number of ailments and conditions, including shingles, urinary tract infections (bladder infections), cold sores, certain skin conditions, and more.  Pharmacists can also prescribe prescription birth control.  Pharmacist prescribing requires a clinical assessment by the pharmacist before a prescription can be issued.

Blister Packaging involves organizing medications into a daily bubble package to improve drug-adherence and assist patients with keeping track of their medications.
